A Pretty Color Challenge This Week!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Connie & Mary . Vibrant colors are what we are all using this week for our Color Challenge. And I have a sweet card for you!
The Ice Cream Swirl Bundle was so much fun to layer. I love all of the diecuts I used on my ice cream cone and what about those luscious strawberries? Wouldn’t this make a great card to lift someone’s spirits?
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Ice Cream Swirl
- Cardstock: Sweet Sorbet, Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight
- Inks: Sweet Sorbet, Lemon Lime Twist
- Tools & Accessories: Ice Cream Swirl, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Iridescent Foil Gems
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Stamp the confetti across the bottom with Lemon Lime Twist Ink. Glue to card front.
- Ice Cream Cone: Follow these steps:
- Cone: Cut (1) cone with the die and Daffodil Delight Cardstock. Glue to card front.
- Ice Cream: Diecut one of each of the two pieces for the ice cream with Sweet Sorbet Cardstock. Glue them together with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue over the cone.
- Strawberries: Stamp (3) strawberries with Sweet Sorbet Ink on Sweet Sorbet Cardstock. Cut with the die and glue around the bottom of the ice cream cone with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock with Sweet Sorbet Ink. Cut close to the lettering and glue to ice cream cone
- Bling: Add Iridescent Foil Gems to the ice cream.
