It’s A Sketch Challenge This Week!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and our design team created projects with this sketch challenge:
If you’ve been following me for quite some time, you know that I love to create masculine cards, so when the new catalog arrived and I spied the Adventurous Sky Bundle, bam it was on my first order!
I love all of the diecut parts and pieces that are cut and glued on this beautiful airplane. What about the Take To The Sky Designer Paper? It’s just gorgeous!
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Adventourous Sky
- Cardstock: Early Espresso, Copper Clay, Boho Blue, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Take To The Sky
- Inks: Early Espresso
- Tools & Accessories: Adventurous Sky Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Something Fancy Dies, Industrial Trinkets, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Early Espresso Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Take To The Sky Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Use the large label shape from the Something Fancy Dies to cut (3) using the Take To The Sky Designer Paper. Glue evenly across the front with Stampin’ Dimenisonals.
- Layer 4: Boho Blue Cardstock5-1/8″ x 1/2″. Trim the ends into a banner shape with Paper Snips. Glue over the label shapes about 1-1/4″ from the bottom.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock with Early Espresso Ink. Cut with the 1-1/4″ circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Glue to the left side.
- Airplane: Cut the following for the airplane:
- Body of airplane with Early Espresso Cardstock
- Wing section of airplane with Copper Clay Cardstock. Glue to body section.
- Propeller with Boho Blue Cardstock. Glue to airlplane.
- Glue airplane to card front.
- Bling: Add Industrial Trinkets to the background.
