It’s Sketch Challenge Week!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . I hope your week is going well. The grass is starting to turn green in Maine, a sure sign that summer is on the way. I used the Seaside Wishes Bundle for todays project which reminds me of summer:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Seaside Wishes
- Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Thoughtful Designs Specialty Paper
- Inks: VersaMark, Pretty Peacock
- Tools & Accessories: Seaside Wishes Dies, So Swirly Embossing Folder, Nested Essentials Dies, Adhesive-Backed Pearl Trio, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Heat Tool, Basics Embossing Powder
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer 2: Thoughtful Designs Specialty Paper 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Petal Pink Cardstock 4-3/4″ x 2-1/2″. Emboss with the So Swirly Embossing Folder. Glue 1/2″ from thr right side.
- Layer 4: Pretty Peacock Cardstock cut with the #2 Nested Essentials Dies. Glue to the pink layer.
- Sand Dollar: Stamp the sand dollar image on Basic White Cardstock with Pretty Peacock Ink. Cut with the die. Glue to the left about 1-1/2: from the top.
- Leaves: Cut (5) leaves with the dies and Soft Sea Foam Cardstock. Glue two behind the sand dollar and two on the sand dollar. The fifth one to the right. NOTE: You’ll have to trim the three on the front so they don’t go past the sentiment layer.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Pretty Peacock Cardstock 4″ x 1″ with VersaMark Ink on the bottom. Sprinkle with white embossing powder. Melt with the Heat Tool. Glue to card front about 1-1/4″ from the bottom.
- Diecut: Cut one detailed sand dollar with Petal Pink Cardstock and the die. Glue to the right of the stamped sand dollar.
- Bling: Add Adhesive-Backed Pearl Trio to the sentiment layer and the die shape layer.
