A Color Challenge This Week!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Connie & Mary . What beautiful colors we have this week for our Color Challenge. I added lots and lots of layers and used white & gold for neutrals:
I used so many beautiful Stampin’ Up! products for my pretty layers: Season Of Chic stamp set, Chic Dies, Glorious Gingham Designer Paper, Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots and Orchid Oasis Metallic Woven Ribbon:
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Highland Heather 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer 2: Glorious Gingham Designer Paper 5″ x 3-3/4″. Glue at an angle to the card base.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock cut with the netting die. Glue centered to the card front.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment with Orchid Oasis Ink on Basic White Cardstock 2-3/4″ x 7/8″. Glue to card front at the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Diecut and Stamped Layers: Glue to the card front tucked around the sentiment as follows:
- Stamped Shells: (2) with Orchid Oasis Ink and (2) with Highland Heather Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Cut with the die.
- (1) Orchis Oasis Cardstock and (1) Boho Blue Cardstock shell cut with the large detailed shell die.
- (1) Orchis Oasis Cardstock, (1) Boho Blue Cardstock and (1) Gold Foil Sheet shell cut with the medium detailed shell die.
- (1) Orchis Oasis Cardstock, (1) Boho Blue Cardstock and (2) Gold Foil Sheet shell cut with the small detailed shell die.
- Ribbon: Create a bow with the ribbon and glue to the bottom right corner of the sentiment layer.
- Bling: Add Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the background.
