July Is CASE The Catalog Month!
Good morning! It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Connie & Mary . We are all using the project in the photo above to Case The Catalog. I dug out my Grassy Grove stamp set and Grove Dies to copy the layout of the card:
I used some pretty colors on my card that work so well together: Copper Clay, Shaded Spruce, Pebbled Path and Basic White.
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Grassy Grove, Beautiful Balloons
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Pebbled Path, Copper Clay
- Designer Paper: 2023-2025 In Color Designer Paper
- Inks: Pebbled Path, Copper Clay, Shaded Spruce
- Tools & Accessories: Grove Dies, Copper Clay Textured Ribbon, Nested Essential Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Fern 3D Embossing Folder
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White 8-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: 2023-2025 In Color Designer Paper 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Copper Clay Cardstock 4-1/4″ x 1-1/4″. Emboss with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. Glue to card front 1/2″ from the top.
- Ribbon: Wrap the ribbon around the Copper Clay Cardstock layer and tie into a double-knot at the right. Trim ends at an angle.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock as follows:
- Cut with the Nested Essential Dies 3″ long.
- Stamp the tree image to the left, repeatedly without stamping for a lighter color. Repeat several times.
- Stamp the deer on Basic White Cardstock with Copper Clay Ink. Cut with the die. Glue to the white layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Glue layer to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals 1/4″ from the left and layered over the Copper Clay layer.
- Banner: Pebbled Path Cardstock 1-3/4″ x 1-1/2″. Stamp the sentiment from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set with Pebbled Path Ink at the top. Trim the bottom into a banner shape. Glue over the ribbon and white layer.
