Can’t Live Without Theme!

Welcome to our Control Freaks monthly team blog hop. You may have arrived here from my teammate Wendy Weixler’s blog. I hope you enjoyed her project this month! I will direct you to the next person participating in the blog hop at the end of my post.
A few weeks ago, I attended a Stampin’ Up! online event and received a new Annual Catalog along with the Uniquely Artistic stamp set that you see here:

I used this stamp set paired with my Simply Scored Scoring Tool and the scoring tool is what I can’t live without! Not only do I use it to score my card bases in half like it’s intended for, I also used it on the white layer to create my own embossing:

I found the center of my Basic White Cardstock layer on the front and then added nine score lines and it gives my cardstock layer this really neat effect.

Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer #2: Bermuda Bay Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer #3: Basic White Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Score nine times starting in the center horizontally using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool. Set aside.
- Stamp and hand-cut the following:
- One flower image stamped on Basic White Cardstock using Bermuda Bay Ink. Use the inked lines in the center to spread color with a Blender Pen.
- One flower image stamped on Basic White Cardstock using Mango Melody Ink. Use the inked lines in the center to spread color with a Blender Pen.
- Three of the double leaf image on Basic White Cardstock using Pear Pizzazz Ink. Use the inked lines to spread color with a Blender Pen.
- Glue the Mango Melody flower flat. Glue the Bermuda Bay flower using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Gue the leaves flat tucked under the flowers.
- Stamp the small flower cluster image around the flowers and leaves on the background using Mango Melody Ink.
- Glue cardstock layer to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Polished Dots among the small flower clusters.
I will now direct you to the next person in our blog hop. I hope you will enjoy the projects by Bree Renwick and thanks for visiting with me!

Debbie, love it. Have a Great day. : – )
Thank you Penny!
