Ocean Friends & Friends Of The Ocean Designer Paper!
Most of you know that I am from Maine. Maine is a lobster state. We have lots of lobster fishermen around our coastal towns and I do love lobster. When the new Mini Catalog was available for demonstrators to order from, this bundle was the first one on my list.
I created 8 cards for our Control Freaks Card Swap so you’ll be seeing all of the swaps I received soon!
Not only is the lobster image cute, look at the adorable crab too!
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Ocean Friends
- Inks: Melon Mambo, Summer Splash
- Cardstock: Summer Splash, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Friends Of The Ocean
- Tools & Accessorites: Ocean Friends Dies, Sunny Day Iridescent Dots, Soft Waves Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Summer Splash Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Friends Of The Ocean Designer Paper 4 x 3. Glue to card front about 1-1/8″ from the top.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 4 x 2-1/2. Stamp the lobster outline with Melon Mambo Ink. Stamp the inside of the lobster with Melon Mambo Ink. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Pumpkin Pie Cardstock 4-1/4 x 3/4. Cut the right end into a banner shape. Stamp the sentiment at the right with Melon Mambo Ink. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals about 1-1/4″ from the bottom.
- Crab: Stamp the crab outline with Summer Splash Ink. Stamp the inside with the same ink color on scrap paper first, and without reinking over the outline image. Cut with the die and glue to sentiment layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Sunny Day Iridescent Dots to the background.
