Winter Wonderland!

Welcome to our team Saturday Blog Hop at Create with Connie & Mary. Just a note that this week’s project will be for the next two weeks as we take off next Saturday for Christmas. We will be back on January 1st with some new products from the new Mini Catalog & Sale-A-Bration!

Our theme today is Winter Wonderland. I love how my card turned out. I wanted to add lots of white diecut layers to create a winter wonderland scenery:

I hope you agree with me that this truly depicts a winter wonderland. The Cabin Dies created all of these beautiful diecut layers and all in white. Notice the cute trees and those adorable fences. Here are photos of more of the details:

And let’s create one together using these steps:

  • Card Base: Misty Moonlight Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
  • Layer #2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
  • Layer #3: Balmy Blue Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Stamp with the snowflakes image from the Peaceful Deer stamp set using Whisper White Ink. Stamp the sentiment from the Heartfelt Wishes stamp set using Misty Moonlight Ink. Set aside and allow to dry.
  • White Layers: Use the cabin dies with Basic White Cardstock to create layers of trees and snow. Cut to 3-3/4″ long. Glue to card Balmy Blue Cardstock layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Cut two fences using Basic White Cardstock and glue to each side. Add a few diecut smaller trees to the front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
