Splendid Thoughts Bundle and Splendid Day Designer Paper!

This is the last card in my series of using the Splendid Thoughts Suite (for now). If I haven’t convinced you to purchase this suite yet, I have failed! The card today is another one that I copied (cased) from the catalog. The card is so gorgeous that I copied it exactly 100%. So many things to talk about on this card but first, the details:

How can you not fall in love with all of these patterns and layers? Here’s the how-to:

• Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
• Layer #2: Splendid Day Designer Paper 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Glue to card front.
• Layer #3: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/2″ x 3-1/4″. Follow these steps:
  • Stamp the large branch image at the top and at the left using Soft Sea Foam Ink.
  • Stamp the next sized branch image about 1″ from the top and at the right using Coastal Cabana Ink.
  • Glue to card front.
  • Cut (1) of the large branch using the die and Soft Sea Foam Cardstock. Glue over the stamped Soft Sea Foam branch on the white layer.
  • Stamp the large branch image again on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock using Soft Sea Foam Ink. Stamp over that image with the lined branch image using Soft Sea Foam Ink. Cut with the die and glue over the diecut branch using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Cut (1) of the next sized branch using the die and Coastal Cabana Cardstock. Glue over the stamped Coastal Cabana branch on the white layer.
  • Stamp the next sized branch again on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock using Soft Sea Foam Ink. Stamp over that image with the lined branch image using Soft Sea Foam Ink. Cut with the die and glue over the Coastal Cabana diecut branch using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Plant Pots: Follow these steps:
  • Using the half-circle die, cut (1) each with Pale Papaya, Sahara Sand and the Splendid Day Designer Paper.
  • Layer the designer paper layer over the Sahara Sand layer. Wrap Linen Thread around the Sahara Sand layer and tie into a bow. Glue to the branches on the left side using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Stamp the sentiment using Calypso Coral Ink on the Pale Papaya layer. Glue to the 2nd set of branches using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
