December A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop!
Good Morning everyone and welcome to A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop for December. The Lots Of Pun kit was so much fun to create with this month. I love the sentiment puns that were included and I made so many alternative projects. Today I am showing you this one:
Do you recognize the Pool Party layer? It’s a left-over diecut piece after I poked out the banner diecuts. I call these guts. All I did was cut the top and bottom so that the strip going across is about 1/4″ wide. I love how the cherries look when I tucked them in my faux trellis:

Card Recipe:
- Card Base: From the kit. Fold on the score line and add a few stamped speckles on the background using Early Espresso Ink.
- Layer #2: Cut apart the left-over diecut piece after you poke out the banners. Trim the top and bottom so the strips going across are about 1/4″ wide. Add Foam Adhesive Strips to the back and glue to card front.
- Cherries: Stamp the cherry image on three of the diecuts using Early Espresso Ink. Glue and tuck each diecut cherry into the trellis.
- Sentiments: Stamp the small sentiment on a Pool Party diecut banner flipped to the white side using Early Espresso Ink. Glue to the first hole at the bottom of the trellis using Foam Adhesive Strips and glue the diecut Hello slightly above the first sentiment.
- Bling: Add yellow and blue bling from the kit to the background and trellis areas.
