Beach Party Theme!

Good morning! It’s a Beach Party kind of day for our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends this week. Stampin’ Up! has some great bundles that worked so well for my card. Take a peek:

I used the Relaxing Waterside Bundle and the Splash & Relax Bundle to create this neat beach scenery. The layer with all of the printed birds is from the Waterside Retreat Designer Paper:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Relaxing Waterside, Splash & Relax
- Inks: Pretty Peacock, Basic Gray, Crisp Cantaloupe
- Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake, Crisp Cantaloupe, Cloud Cover, Smoky Slate
- Designer Paper: Waterside Retreat
- Tools & Accessories: Relaxing Waterside Dies, Splash & Relax Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Pretty Peacock Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Waterside Retreat Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Pecan Pie Cardstock 5-1/4 x 1. Tear one long side in different heights. Set aside.
- Layer 4: Crumb Cake Cardstock 5-1/4 x 1-3/4. Tear one long side in different heights. Glue the Pecan Pie torn layer to the top of the crumb cake layer so it peeks out. Glue the designer paper even at the bottom.
- Lawn Chair: Stamp the chair image with Basic Gray Ink on Waterside Retreat Designer Paper. Cut with the die. Glue to the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Floatie: Stamp the detail image of the floatie on Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock with Crisp Cantaloupe Ink. Cut with the die. Glue tucked under the lawn chair on the right with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Beach Ball: Stamp the detail image of the beach ball on Cloud Cover Cardstock with Pretty Peacock Ink. Cut with the die. Glue layered over the floatie on the right.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment above the floatie with Pretty Peacock Ink.
- Seagulls: Stamp 2 seagulls on Smoky Slate Cardstock with Basic Gray Ink. Cut with the die. Glue one to the right of the beach ball and one on the arm of the lawn chair, both with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
