Simply Leaves For Fall!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a beautiful fall leaf photo:

The Simply Leaves Bundle sure makes it easy to stamp and cut the large leaves. I also added in a few smaller leaves that I handcut so I could layer all of my leaves above and tucked into the sentiment layer:

The colors I used to mimic the photo are Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Golden Glow:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Simply Leaves
- Inks: Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso, Golden Glow
- Cardstock: Early Espresso, Basic White, Golden Glow, Old Olive
- Designer Paper: Frightfully Fun
- Tools & Accessories: Simply Leaves Punch, Moody Palette Glossy Dots, Linen Thread, Sweet Words & Labels, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Early Espresso Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Golden Glow Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Early Espresso Cardstock 4-7/8 x 3-5/8. Set aside.
- Layer 4: Frightfully Fun Designer Paper 4-7/8 x 2-3/4. Glue to espresso layer centered.
- Twine: Wrap the twine around the designer paper three times and tie into a bow at the right. Glue layer to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Label: Cut the label shape with the die and Old Olive Cardstock. Stamp the sentiment with Early Espresso Ink. Glue over the twine at the left of the bow with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on the outside edges.
- Leaves: Stamp and cut the following leaves on Basic White Cardstock:
- Large leaf with Cajun Craze Ink, cut with the punch.
- Large leaf with Golden Glow Ink, cut with the punch.
- Small leaf with Cajun Craze Ink, cut with Paper Snips.
- Small leaf with Pumpkin Pie Ink, cut with Paper Snipsl
- Tuck and glue 2 large leaves and 1 small leaf with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Tuck 1 small leaf under the large leaf on the left and glue flat.
- Bling: Add Moody Palette Glossy Dots to the designer paper background.
