White On White Theme!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. I always love creating white-on-white cards. To me, they always turn out so elegant. Look how gorgeous my poinsettia’s look all in white over white layers. Did you know the Pretty Poinsettia’s is our newest Collection? You can read about that at the bottom of my post.

This bundle comes with a cute little dotted stamp image that is meant to be used in the center of the flowers and diecut. I instead used the image to add dots to some of my petals. I also colored the layered flowers with Clear Wink Of Stella:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Pretty Poinsettia
- Inks: Smoky Slate
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Pretty Poinsettia Dies, Clear Wink Of Stella, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Sunset Sparkle Sequins
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom right with Smoky Slate Ink. Glue to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Branch: Cut the large branch with the die and Basic White Cardstock. Stamp the dotted image on some of the petals with Smoky Slate Ink. Glue to card front facing downwards with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Poinsettia: Cut 4 different sizes of the poinsettia petals with the dies and Basic White Cardstock. Start with the smallest and go up each size. Stamp the dotted image on some of the petals with Smoky Slate Ink. Layer and glue the flowers on top of each other. Glue to branch at the top.
- Color all of the petals on the flower with Clear Wink Of Stella.
- Bling: Add Sunset Sparkle Sequins around the flower and branch.
