Color Challenge Week With Words Of Beauty!

Now for a peek at our Color Challenge this week:

Aren’t these three colors very bright and springy? I’m so ready for spring. Although it hasn’t been a tough winter with snow in Maine, it has been cold so I’m ready for some warmer temps!

This card is Clean & Simple and I love the layered sentiments and the pretty papers:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Words Of Beauty
- Cardstock: Summer Splash, Peach Pie, Azure Afternoon
- Designer Paper: In Color, Lovely & Beautiful
- Inks: Azure Afternoon
- Tools & Accessories: Words Of Beauty Dies, Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots,
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Summer Splash Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Azure Afternoon Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: In Color Designer Paper 3-3/4 x 1-1/4 and Lovely & Beautiful Designer Paper 3-3/4 x 3-1/2. Glue both pieces to card front leaving 1/4″ between the two designs.
- Sentiment 1: Stamp the birthday sentiment on Peach Pie Cardstock with Azure Afternoon Ink. Cut with the label die. Glue at the bottom with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment 2: Cut the sentiment outline with Shy Shamrock Cardstock and cut the detailed sentiment with Azure Afternoon Cardstock. Glue both layers together. Glue above the first sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to the designer paper background.
