Happy Halloween Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. Happy Halloween week! Our theme this week is Happy Halloween and I used the Spooky Halloween Bundle along with the Spooky Sweet Designer Paper for my card:
Do you ever challenge yourself to use leftover paper guts on your cards? The two layers of the haunted house diecuts were sitting on my counter so I decided to use them on my card this week:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Spooky Halloween
- Inks: Memento Black
- Stamping Blends: Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate
- Cardstock: Granny Apple Green Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Basic Black
- Designer Paper: Spooky Sweet
- Tools & Accessories: Spooky Halloween Dies, Shimmer Star Foam Stickers, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Granny Apple Green Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Basic Black Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Spooky Sweet Designer Paper 5-1/8 x 3-7/8. Glue to black layer.
- Layer 4: Pumpkin Pie Cardstock 4-1/4 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment with Memento Black Ink. Glue to card front about 1-1/2″ from the top.
- Fence: Cut 1 fence with the die and Basic Black Cardstock. Use Paper Snips to snip off one part of the fench on the left. Glue to card base on the left and the remaining fence on the right.
- Haunted House: Use the die to cut 1 with Daffodil Delight Cardstock and 1 with Basic White Cardstock. Glue them together by offsetting the white to the left a little. Add scraps of Basic Black Cardstock on the back to cover the holes. Glue to card front at the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Critter: Stamp the critter on Basic White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink. Cut with the die. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Glue layered over the haunted house to the right with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Pumpkin: Stamp the small pumpkin on Basic White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink. Cut with the die. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Glue to the hand with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Shimmer Star Foam Stickers to the haunted house.
