Summer Flowers Theme!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. It was so easy to pick a stamp set for my card this week and also for the Summer Flowers theme. Stampin’ Up! always knocks it out of the park with their floral images!

I kept my card Clean & Simple because I wanted the focus to be on my coloring:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Charming Day
- Inks: Mossy Meadow
- Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Charming Day Dies, Blender Pens, Watercolor Pencils, Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Petal Pink Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Stamp the large flower image twice along the left edge with Mossy Meadow Ink. Stamp the sentiment with Mossy Meadow Ink at the bottom right corner. Color as follows with a Blender Pen:
- Leaves: 2 shades of green with the Watercolor Pencils
- Flowers: 2 shades of pink with the Watercolor Pencils
- Outlining: Outline the outside of each image with a light blue Watercolor Pencil.
- Glue layer to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Single Flower: Stamp the single flower on Basic White Cardstock with Mossy Meadow Ink. Color using the same Watercolor Pencil colors with a Blender Pen. Cut with the die and glue layer over the stamped flowers in the center with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots to the background.

Beautiful card Debbie. Love how you stamped it just along the side. Great design and colors. TFS
This is gorgeous! Watercolor pencils were the perfect choice for coloring this project.
