Kids Valentine!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! We have some cute projects in store for you this week for our kiddos! If you have kids or grandkids and need ideas, you’ve come to the right place. I opted to combine quite a few products to achieve what you see below:

I combined the following stamp sets, dies, punches and designer paper:

• Country Bouquet Stamp Set
• Friendly Gnomes Stamp Set
• Country Bouquet Punch
• Gnomes Dies
• Country Floral Designer Paper

And I added a little bit of heat embossing and sponging in the mix!

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

• Stamps: Country Bouquet, Friendly Gnomes
• Inks: Sweet Sorbet, Petal Pink, VersaMark
• Cardstock: Mint Macaron, Basic White
• Designer Paper: Country Floral
• Tools & Accessories: Blending Brush, Basics Embossing Powders, Heat Tool, County Bouquet Punch, Gnomes Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Blender Pens

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Mint Macaron Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
• Layer #2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card front.
• Layer #3: Country Floral Designer Paper 5″ x 3-3/4″. Glue to card front.
• Layer #4: Basic White Cardstock 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″. Follow these steps:
  • Stamp the flowered heart shape image at the top left corner with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder and melt with the Heat Tool.
  • Use a Blending Brush and Petal Pink Ink to blend color on the stamped heart.
  • Use the designer paper sheet that coordinates with the Country Bouquet Punch to cut out the four designer paper pieces. Set aside.
  • Stamp the gnome image on Basic White Cardstock with Sweet Sorbet Ink. Use a Blender Pen with Sweet Sorbet and Petal Pink Ink Pads to add a little bit of color, leaving a lot of white space. Cut with the die.
  • Glue gnome on white layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Tuck and glue the punched layers gluing the small heart with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Stamp the small heart image at the top right with Sweet Sorbet Ink.
  • Stamp the sentiment at the bottom right with Sweet Sorbet Ink.
  • Glue layer at an angle to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
