Wild About Florals Theme!

Welcome to our August Stampers Dozen Blog Hop. We are hopping this month using a Wild About Florals theme. I decided to create a Slimline Card using the Coneflower Celebrations Bundle:

Coneflowers are one of my favorite flowers and I based the colors of my flowers with the ones currently growing in my flower gardens. These are my flowers:

I used Stampin’ Up! colors to mimic my flowers: Daffodil Delight, Petunia Pop and Peach Pie. The Coneflower Celebrations Bundle was perfect for my Slimline Card layout:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Coneflower Celebrations
- Inks: Early Espresso, Shaded Spruce
- Cardstock: Early Espresso, Shaded Spruce, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Petunia Pop, Peach Pie
- Tools & Accessories: Coneflower Celebrations Dies, Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Early Espresso Cardstock 8-1/2 x 6-1/2. Score and fold at 3-1/4.
- Layer 2: Pool Party Cardstock 8-1/4 x 3. Embossin with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder. Glue to card base.
- Flowers: Stamp 3 coneflowers with Early Espresso Ink on Daffodil Delight, Petunia Pop, Peach Pie Cardstocks. Cut with the die. Glue all 3 at an angle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Leaves: Stamp 2 of each leaf on Shaded Spruce Cardstock with Shaded Spruce Ink. Cut with the dies. Tuck and glue under the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the background.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment with Shaded Spruce Ink on Pool Party Cardstock 2-1/2 x 1/2. Tuck and glue under the center flower.
