Have You Ever Created Card Candy?

I have a group page on Facebook called Stamp & Ink Designs and each month, I host a flurry of activities such as:
- One Card Swap
- Creative Challenges
- Group Member Challenges
- RAK Birthday Club
- Swaps
- And Sharing Projects Always
A few weeks ago, I added a sign-up for a Card Candy Swap. What is Card Candy? They are a grouping of a certain number of little layers that you just peel and stick to a card base for a quick card. Let me show you what I mean by using what I created for the swap:

Sign-ups for my swaps are always groups of 5 people so it’s not too overwhelming. For the card candy you can use multiple products and stamp sets. This time, I opted to stick with one suite and added embellishments as well:
- Ornamental Bundle (stamps & dies)
- Modern Christmas Designer Paper
- Black & White & Gold Bakers Twine
- Holographic Resin Dots
You can see close-ups of each card candy below and once I had them all created, I added one Stampin’ Dimensional on the back of each. I then cut a window sheet to fit in a cello bag and added 2 card candies on each side of the window sheet. Once that was completed, I put the window sheet inside a cello bag and created a topper for my bags. You can see all 4 of my card candies below and also both sides of my window sheet where I attached them:

Because there were 5 of us in the group, I kept a set of card candies for myself and mailed out the other 4 to the members of my group. Once that was all done, I got busy creating 4 cards:

Sometimes the card candies are small and you can add more than one to a card. Because mine were larger this time, due to the size of the sentiments, I was able to complete 4 cards by adding layers of designer paper, cardstock and a card base:

If you belong to a group or have members of a team and even just a group of friends or family, this is a great activity to host! If you would like to participate in monthly group activities, please feel free to join my Facebook group here:
