Can you believe I made this with Canning Lids?
You are going to love how easy it is to create this 3D Canning Lid Pumpkin. I recently saw a photo of a project similar to this where they had used ribbons. Our Stampin’ Up! Harvest Meadow Designer Paper has such pretty patterns that I immediately knew that’s what I wanted to use!
If you look closely at my diecut leaves below, you’ll notice some nice glittered and glassy looking effects. That’s because I used our Shimmery Crystal Effects. I “colored” all of my Mint Macaron Cardstock leaves that I diecut using the Intricate Leaves Dies with the Shimmery Crystal Effects. Don’t they look fabulous?
The tendrils at the top are created with snippets of Soft Suede Cardstock wrapped around the handle of a paint brush. By wrapping and pressing in place, they keep the curls that you see. The center of my pumpkin is a cinnamon stick. I used the regular canning lids and not the wide mouth.
