It’s Color Challenge Week at Create With Stamping Friends!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . We are using three pretty colors: Coastal Cabana, Berry Burst and Petal Pink. Here’s my project using the Simply Zinnia Bundle from our Online Exclusives:
I also added some Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush on the center of the diecut flower and the three diecut leaves. I love how you can diecut some zinnias or stamp as well.
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Simply Zinnia
- Cardstock: Coastal Cabana, Berry Burst , Petal PInk
- Inks: VersaMark, Coastal Cabana
- Tools & Accessories: Heat Tool, Basics Embossing Powders, Simply Zinnia Dies, Radiating Stitches Dies, Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins, Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Coastal Cabana Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″. Stamp the flower image repeatedly over the front with Coastal Cabana Ink.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock cut with the Radiating Stitches Dies 4″ x 2-5/8″. Glue about 1/2″ from the right edge.
- Layer 3: Berry Burst Cardstock cut with the Radiating Stitches Dies 3-3/8″ x 2″. Stamp the sentiment at the top with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle white embossing powder over the ink and melt with the Heat Tool. Glue to white layer.
- Flower: Cut the following with the dies:
- (2) flower petals with Petal Pink Cardstock. Glue stacked together with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue to the Berry Burst layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals at the bottom right corner.
- (3) leaves with Coastal Cabana Cardstock. Color the leaves with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. Tuck and glue under the flower.
- (1) flower center with Coastal Cabana Cardstock. Color with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. Glue to the center of the flower.
- Bling: Add Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins to the Berry Burst background.
