Nature Themed Cards!
Hello and welcome to our Tuesday Creatively Simple for Create With Stamping Friends. Connie and I have been busy creating simple cards for you today. The theme this month is Nature:
I used the cute little dies from a new bundle coming in May. As demonstrators, we get to play with new products a whole month before they go live to customers. Aren’t the stems & flowers cute?
The dies cut the stems with one die and then the flowers are cut with dies in two sizes. I finished off my card by directly stamping the sentiment on the designer paper:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Hearts & Hugs
- Inks: Shy Shamrock
- Cardstock: Smoky Slate, Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock, Basic White
- Designer Paper: 2024-2026 In Color
- Tools & Accessories: Hearts & Hugs Dies, 2-3/8″ Circle Punch, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Smoky Slate Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: 2024-2026 In Color Designer Paper 4-1/4″ x 3″. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock cut with the 2-3/8″ Circle Punch. Glue to card front about 1-1/8″ from the top.
- Stems: Cut one set of stems with the die and Shy Shamrock Cardstock. Glue to circle.
- Flowers: Use the (2) flower dies to cut (3) flowers with Peach Pie Cardstock. Glue to each stem with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment below the circle with Shy Shamrock Ink.
