Color Challenge Week With Valentine Kisses!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and we have a Color Challenge for this week:

Of course those colors scream Valentine’s to me so that’s what I created using the Valentine Kisses Bundle and the Made With Love Designer Paper. The patterns in this paper pack are so pretty to use:

I even used the little stitched heart die to create a neat border under my stamped layer:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

• Stamps: Valentine Kisses
• Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Bubble Bath, Flirty Flamingo, Basic White
• Designer Paper: Made With Love
• Inks: Poppy Parade
• Tools & Accessories: Valentine Kisses Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Poppy Parade Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
• Layer 2: Made With Love Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
• Layer 3: Poppy Parade Cardstock 3-3/4 x 3-1/2. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals about 3/4″ from the top.
• Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock 3-1/2 x 3-1/4. Stamp the large bear image to the left with Poppy Parade Ink. Glue to poppy layer.
• Diecuts: Stamp and cut the following to glue to the white layer:
  • Stand: Cut with the die and Flirty Flamingo Cardstock. Glue with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the right of the large bear.
  • Bear: Stamp the partial bear on Basic White Cardstock with Poppy Parade Ink. Cut with the die and glue tucked under the stand with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock 1-1/2 x 5/8 with Poppy Parade Ink. Glue to stand.
  • Birds: Stamp the two bird images on Bubble Bath Cardstock with Poppy Parade Ink. Cut with the dies and glue one to the top of the stand and one to the left of the stand with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Hearts: Use the stitched heart die to cut 6 hearts. Stamp the triple hearts image on one heart with Poppy Parade Ink. Glue to the large bear flat. Glue the remaining 5 hearts tucked under the poppy layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals to create the border.
