Color Challenge Week With Beautifully Celebrated!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and we have a Color Challenge with these 3 colors this week. Because Christmas falls on a Thursday this year, this challenge will be up for two weeks so we can spend time with family during the busy Christmas week.

I’m a little tired of creating Christmas cards by now so I went with this card this week using the Beautifully Celebrated Bundle:

I have a little bit of stamping, diecutting, coloring, heat embossing and lots of bling:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Beautifully Celebrated
- Cardstock: Shy Shamrock, Berry Burst, Basic White
- Inks: VersaMark, Shy Shamrock, Berry Burst
- Tools & Accessories: Beautifully Celebrated Dies, Heat Tool, Basics Embossing Powders, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Shy Shamrock Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Shy Shamrock Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Stamp the large leaf image on the bottom left and towards the center top with Shy Shamrock Ink. Stamp the small branch image over the large leaf images with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder and melt with the Heat Tool. Glue to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp and diecut the following:
- Berry Burst Cardstock cut with the two label shapes. Glue them together and glue to card front at the right with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp 3 leaf images on Basic White Cardstock with Shy Shamrock Ink. Colorwash the ink with a Water Painter to each leaf. Cut with the die. Tuck and glue around the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Cut 2 small branches with the die and Basic White Cardstock. Tuck and glue under the label and over the stamped leaves.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock 1/2″ wide with Berry Burst Ink. Cut the ends close to the wording and glue to the labels flat.
- Bling: Add Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots around the outside of the leaves on the background.
Merry Christmas to our Thursday Challenge followers!
