Color Challenge Week With The Delicate Pines Bundle!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . Such pretty colors we are using this week for a team Color Challenge:

A pink & orange snowflake? If you’ve been following me for a long time, you all know I like to create using non-traditional colors. That’s the artist in me!

At first I was going to go for a fall theme, but had this bundle sitting on my counter so I decided to challenge myself with a winter-themed card.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

• Stamps: Delicate Pines
• Cardstock: Granny Apple Green, Petunia Pop, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White
• Designer Paper: Brights
• Inks: Petunia Pop, VersaMark, Granny Apple Green
• Tools & Accessories: Delicate Pines Dies, Heat Tool, Basics Embossing Powders, Frosted Iridescent Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Granny Apple Green Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
• Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
• Layer 3: Brights Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to white layer.
• Snowflake: Follow these steps-
  • Stamp the large snowflake image on Petunia Pop Cardstock with VersaMark Ink.
  • Sprinkle white embossing powder and melt the powder with the Heat Tool.
  • Cut with the die and glue to card front at the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Use the die to cut the smaller snowflake with Pumpkin Pie Cardstock. Glue to the center of the large snowflake.
  • Stamp the smallest snowflake image on Basic White Cardstock with Petunia Pop Ink.
  • Cut with the die and glue to the large snowflake with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Branch: Stamp the branch image on Granny Apple Green Cardstock with Granny Apple Green Ink. Cut with the die. Tuck and glue under the snowflake at the bottom right.
• Leaf Branch: Cut one with the die and Basic White Cardstock. Layer over the green branch and tucked under the snowflake with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Sentiment: Basic White Cardstock 2 x 5/8 and stamped with Petunia Pop Ink. Clut to the top right and tucked under the snowflake with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Bling: Add Frosted Iridescent Dots, to the designer paper background.
