Case The Annual Catalog With Artistic Leaves!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . This week, we are casing this sample from our Annual Catalog:

I decided to replicate the card sample as close as I could this time. I used some of the same colors and layers. The wreath is created with a leaf image from the Artistic Leaves stamp set:

Once my leaves were heat-embossed, I used a Blending Brush to add Lemon Lime Twist Ink over the embossing. The embossing resists the ink so the white peeks through. I used a little trick to get my wreath nice & round and I’ll show you how below:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Granny Apple Green Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock-follow these steps:

- Cut a circle with the 2″ Circle Punch and scrap cardstock.
- Position the cut circle in the center of the Basic White Cardstock layer to use as a guide.
- Stamp the leaf image around the circle to form the wreath shape.
- Sprinkle with white embossing powder and melt with the Heat Tool.
- Use a Blending Brush to add ink to the whole cardstock layer.
- Wipe over the leaves with a tissue to remove excess ink.
- Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
