July Case The Annual Catalog Challenges!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . During the month of July, you will see our challenge team create projects using a sample from our current Annual Catalog and use the sample for inspiration. Here’s our first one for this month:

I chose to keep the layout of the card but switch out the colors. The colors I used are: Lemon Lolly, Pretty In Pink and Petunia Pop:

The image is from the Gallery Blooms stamp set using Memento Black Ink. I also used the same ink color on the setniment from the Mixed Labels stamp set:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Gallery Blooms, Mixed Labels
- Cardstock: Lemon Lolly, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Subtles
- Inks: Lomeon Lolly, Pretty In Pink, Petunia Pop, Memento Black
- Tools & Accessories: Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots, Bakers Twine Essentials Pack, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Lemon Lolly Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Subtles Designer Paper 4 x 1-1/4. Trim the right end into a banner shape with Paper Snips. Glue even at the left and about 1-1/4″ from the top.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 5 x 3. Use a small Clear Block and press into the Pretty In Pink Ink Pad. Stamp at the top left. Follow that with Lemon Lolly Ink in the center right and lastly, Petunia Pop Ink at the bottom left. Stamp the flower image at the bottom with Memento Black Ink over the petunia and lemon rectangles. Glue layer `1/2″ from the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Twine: Create a bow with the white twine. Glue to the left of the pink rectangle.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock 2 x 3/4. Stamp the sentiment at the left with Memento Black Ink. Cut the right end into a banner shape. Glue over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots around the sentiment.
