Color Challenge Week With Darling Dinos!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . Our challenge team is using the three colors you see below on our projects this week:

I’ve had the Darling Dinos Bundle for some time now and it’s just now seeing ink finally! As demonstrators, we purchase a lot of products when a new catalog debuts and it sometimes takes time to use them all!

I also chose to add layers of Timeless Plaid Designer Paper. I love this paper!

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

• Stamps: Darling Dinos
• Cardstock: Pebbled Path, Basic White, Cajun Craze, Boho Blue
• Designer Paper: Timeless Plaid
• Inks: Pebbled Path
• Stampin’ Blends: Cajun Craze, Boho Blue
• Tools & Accessories: Darling Dinos Dies, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Pebbled Path Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
• Layer 2: (2) patterns of Timeless Plaid Designer Paper: 4 x 3 and 4 x 2-1/4. Glue to card front.
• Layer 3: Pebbled Path Cardstock 4 x 1/4. Glue where the two designer papers meet.
• Layer 4: Pebbled Path Cardstock 4-1/4 x 2-1/2. Glue to card front about 3/4″ from the left edge.
• Layer 5: Basic White Cardstock 4 x 2-1/4. Stamp and color the following:
  • Stamp the rocks image with Pebbled Path Ink at the bottom repeatedly.
  • Stamp the dino with Pebbled Path Ink.
  • Color the dino with Light Cajun Craze and Light Boho Blue Stampin’ Blends.
  • Glue to Pebbled Path Cardstock layer.
• Leaves & Bow: Stamp 3 of the leaf image and 1 bow on Cajun Craze Cardstock with Pebbled Path Ink. Cut and glue the bow to the dino and tuck the leaves under the Pebbled Path layer.
• Sentiment: Stamp on Boho Blue Cardstock with Pebbled Path Ink. Cut close to the wording and glue to card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
