Sketch Challenge Week With Sunrise Sailing!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and this is the sketch we are using this week:

I love creating masculine cards and I love our new Sunrise Sailing Bundle. The products make such pretty cards and I even added two new In Color Cardstocks. Introducing Timid Tiger and Cloud Cover:

Timid Tiger is the orange I used and Cloud Cover is the lighter blue. I also added the new Secret Sea Ink Color which is the dark blue:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Sunrise Sailing
- Cardstock: Timid Tiger, Old Olive, Cloud Cover, Blueberry Bushel, Basic White
- Inks: Secret Sea, Old Olive, Timid Tiger
- Tools & Accessories: Sunrise Sailing Dies, Stampin’ DImensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Timid Tiger Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Cloud Cover Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Stamp the waves image at the bottom with Secret Sea Ink. Set aside.
- Strips: Cut three strips each that measure 4-1/4 x 1/2. Glue by alternating the colors at an angle and trim the ends. Stamp the birds image several times above the strips on the left with Secret Sea Ink. Set aside.
- Sentiment: Timid Tiger Cardstock 4-1/4 x 1/4. Stamp the sentiment in the center with Secret Sea Ink. Glue below the 1/2″ strips. Trim the ends. Glue layer to card front.
- Sailboat: Stamp the sailboat image on Basic White Cardstock with Secret Sea Ink. Stamp the inside of the sails with Old Olive Ink. Stamp the bottom of the boat with Timid Tiger Ink. Cut with the die. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Clouds: Cut one of each cloud with the dies and Basic White Cardstock. Glue the large cloud tucked under the sailboat. Glue the smallest cloud layered over the large cloud at the top.
