Snowy Wonder Gate Card Fold!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . This week, our challenge team is using a card sketch and a card fold. This is the sketch to be used with a Gate Fold:

I used the Snowy Wonder Bundle. Who doesn’t love snowman images right? The snowman and trees I used on this card were actually cut using the dies and from the Snowy Scenes Designer Paper:

I stamped some snowflakes on the Pool Party Cardstock layer that was cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies. You can see how the card opens and more of the details here:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

  • Stamps: Snowy Wonder
  • Cardstock: Real Red, Garden Green, Pool Party, Basic White
  • Designer Paper: Snowy Scenes
  • Inks: Real Red, Pool Party
  • Tools & Accessories: Snowy Wonder Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Iridescent Striped Trim, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Real Red Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 1-1/2 & 5-3/4.
  • Layer 2: Garden Green Cardstock 5-1/4 x 1-1/4 and 5-1/4 x 2-1/2. Glue to each front flap.
  • Layer 3: Snowy Scenes Designer Paper 5 x 1 and 5 x 2-1/4. Glue to each front flap.
  • Layer 4: Real Red Cardstock cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies circle 3″. Glue to the largest flap.
  • Layer 5: Pool Party Cardstock cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies circle 2-1/2. Stamp the snowflake image repeatedly with Pool Party Ink. Glue to red circle.
  • Images: Cut the snowman and two trees from the designer paper with the dies. Glue the trees flat and the snowman with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock with Real Red Ink. Cut with Paper Snips around the lettering. Glue to circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Ribbon: Cut a piece of ribbon 2″ long. Cut the ends at an angle. Fold in half and glue tucked under the snowman.
