Gears & Textures Thinking Of You!
Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is this rainbow of colors image:
My thoughts were to create a card using the colors and I knew I wanted to change the hearts to gears:
I also added some 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls mixed in with the gears:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Gears & Textures, Friendly Foliage
- Inks: Strawberry Slush, Azure Afternoon, Timid Tiger, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Fresh Freesia
- Cardstock: Azure Afternoon, Strawberry Slush, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Lovely & Beautiful
- Tools & Accessories: Gears & Textures Dies, 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Azure Afternoon Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Lovely & Beautiful Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 4-1/4 x 3. Follow these steps-
- Stamp the long chain image starting at the top with the following ink colors:
- Strawberry Slush Ink
- Azure Afternoon Ink
- Timid Tiger Ink
- Granny Apple Green Ink
- Daffodil Delight Ink
- Stamp the sentiment below the row of chains with Fresh Freesia Ink
- Stamp the dotted image over the chains several times with Lemon Lime Twist Ink.
- Glue to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the long chain image starting at the top with the following ink colors:
- Gears: Cut several gears using the 3 smallest dies with Strawberry Slush, Granny Apple Green, Azure Afternoon and Daffodil Delight Cardstocks. Glue the largest one flat and the 3 others with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals cut in half.
- Bling: Add 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls around the gears and one on the gears.
