Branching Out Little Pocket Card!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is this beautiful photo to draw inspiration from:

I chose to recreate the little pocket envelope and fill it with branches & hearts:

I’ll even show you how I created the pocket and how I stuffed it full of beautiful layers:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Endless Love
- Inks: Strawberry Slush
- Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Basic Beige, Pecan Pie, Balmy Blue, Strawberry Slush, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Made With Love
- Tools & Accessories: Endless Love Dies, Branching Out Dies, Strawberry Slush Faux Linen Ribbon, Loose Valentines Assortment, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Tear & Tape, Liquid Glue
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Shaded Spruce Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic Beige Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Made With Love Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 2. Glue to beige layer at the left.
- Pocket: Pecan Pie Cardstock 4 x 3. Score at 2″ on the 4″ side. Cut a “V” shape at the top as shown below. Add Tear & Tape to the two sides and press in place for form pocket.

- Ribbon: Wrap the ribbon around the pocket and glue to the back. Form a bow with the ribbon adng glue over the ribbon strip. Glue pocket at an angle to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Branches: Cut and tuck inside the pocket the following:
- Shaded Spruce Cardstock with the large branch die: Cut 4
- Sign: Create the sign before adding the remaining branches:
- Basic Beige Cardstock 1-1/2 x 1-1/2. Glue over the spruce branches and tucked inside the pocket.
- Basic White Cardstock 1-1/4 x 1-1/4. Stamp the XO with Strawberry Slush Ink. Glue to beige layer.
- Balmy Blue Cardstock with the smaller branch die: Cut 4
- Cut a bunch of the 2 hearts sizes with the dies and Strawberry Slush Cardstock. Glue to the branches.
- Bling: Add Loose Valentines Assortment to the background with liquid glue.
