Woolly Friends Bundle!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is this group of woolly friends:

I stamped and punched out all of the pieces for three of my wolly animals. Now that my card is completed, I think the heads would be cute on those springy bobble thingies that you can purchase. It would be cute to see their heads bobble!

It was fun building each woolly and then adding a bow or a bell around the necks:

Inks: Pecan Pie, VersaMark
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Fresh Freesia, Basic White
Designer Paper: Subtles
Tools & Accessories: Wolly Friends Punch, Stylish Shapes Dies, Fresh Freesia Velvet Ribbon, Starburst Sequins, Heat Tool, Basics Embossing Powders, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

Card Base: Pecan Pie Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
Layer 2: Fresh Freesia Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
Layer 3: Subtles Designer Paper 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Glue to card front.
Layer 4: Pecan Pie Cardstock cut with the largest square from Stylish Shapes Dies. Turn the shape so it’s diamond shape and stamp the sentiment at the bottom with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder and melt with the Heat Tool. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp ad cut the following on Basic White Cardstock:
- Stamp three sheep bodies with Pecan Pie Ink.
- Stamp the inside of the sheep bodies by inking with Pecan Pie Ink, stamping on scrap paper first and then without reinking, stamp inside the body for a lighter ink color.
- Stamp three heads with Pecan Pie Ink.
- Stamp two bows with Pecan Pie Ink.
- Stamp one bell image with Pecan Pie Ink.
- Cut all images with the punch.
- Glue the heads to the bodies with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Tuck and glue the bows and bell to each sheep flat.
- Glue the two sheep with the bows to the diamond shaped layer flat.
- Glue the one sheep with the bell layered over the other two sheeps with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Bling: Add Starburst Sequins above the sentiment.
