Stylish Shapes Dies Snowman!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a photography image of some really adorable snowpeople:

I decided to use the snowman theme, wood grain theme and added trees in the background:

The Country Woods Designer Paper is what I used to cut my snowman circles with the Stylish Shapes Dies. I used three different sizes and then stacked them over each other with Mini Glue Dots. I did not have any black bling on hand so used my Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends and colored some Rhinestone Basic Jewels:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Ornamental Christmas
- Inks: Shaded Spruce, Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends
- Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Pumpkin Pie, Gray Granite, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Brights, Country Woods
- Tools & Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Garden Green Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Brights Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Snowman: Cut 3 circles with the 1-1/4″, 1-3/4″ and 2-1/8″ Stylish Shapes circle dies. Stack and glue together with Mini Glue Dots. Add the following:
- Wrap the ribbon around the neck, twist and tie into a knot. Secure in place with Mini Glue Dots.
- Cut a tiny triangular nose with Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and glue to face.
- Color 6 small Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends. Add as eyes above the nose and 2 on each circle below the head.
- Set snowman aside.
- Layer 3: Gray Granite Cardstock 4-1/2 x 3-1/4. Stamp 2 trees on the right and at the top with Shaded Spruce Ink.
- Snow: Basic White Cardstock 3-1/4 x 3″. Tear across to create 2 pieces. Glue one piece about 3″ from the top. Glue the snowman in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the head & middle section. Flat for the bottom section. Glue the 2nd snow piece over the snowman and even at the bottom. Color the torn edges with Wink Of Stella.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on the white layer at the bottom right with Shaded Spruce Ink. Glue layer to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
