It’s A Festive Friends Santa!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is good old St. Nick:

If you’ve never created a project with an inspiration photo, it’s quite easy and guides you. You can use the colors only (some or all), theme only or layout or everything you see.
The Festive Friends Bundle was so perfect to use on my card this week. I chose to go with a Santa theme. I love stamping Santa with Memento Black Ink and coloring with Stampin’ Blends:

The white layer is embossed with the Dotted Circles Embossing Folder. Those bumps are so raised and show up so well. They kind of remind me of mandala dot paintings:

- Tools & Accessories: Festive Friends Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Dotted Circles Embossing Folder, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Real Red Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Emboss with the Dotted Circles Embossing Folder. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Garden Green Cardstock 4 x 1-1/4. Glue about 3/4″ from the top.
- Layer 4: Christmas Tags & More Designer Paper 3-1/2 x 3. Glue to card front overlapping the Garden Green layer.
- Layer 5: Real Red Cardstock cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies 3″ circle. Glue 1/4″ below the Garden Green layer.
- Trees: Cut 2 trees with the die and Garden Green Cardstock. Glue flat to the right side of the circle.
- Santa: Stamp Santa on Basic White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink. Cut with the die. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Glue to the left of the trees with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Basic White Cardstock 1-5/8 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment with Memento Black Ink. Tuck and glue under Santa with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Snowflakes: Cut snowflakes with the dies and glue to the background of the circle. And Basic Rhinestone Jewels to each snowflake.
- Banners: Garden Green Cardstock 1-1/2 x 1 and Real Red Cardstock 1 x 1. Cut one end with Paper Snips into a banner shape. Tuck and glue under the designer paper on the right at the bottom.
