Create With Stamping Friends-Inspiration Monday 402

Joyful Tidings & Traditional Wreath Embossing Folder

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration challenge is a gorgous fall-themed photo:

So many choices here for inspiration. What about the colors? The wood grain? The fall theme? A wreath, or the layout? Here’s what I did:

I actually added most of the ideas I listed above. A partial wreath with a fall theme, a woodgrain layer and the layout:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

  • Stamps: Joyful Tidings
  • Inks: Early Espresso
  • Stampin’ Blends: Cajun Craze, Pecan Pie, Lemon Lime Twist, Calypso Coral
  • Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Beige
  • Designer Paper: Country Woods
  • Tools & Accessories: Traditional Wreath 3D Embossing Folder, Cajun Craze & Gold Dots, Amber Autumn Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread Pack

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Cajun Craze Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
  • Layer 2: Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Emboss with the Traditional Wreath Embossing Folder. Glue to card base.
  • Layer 3: County Woods Designer Paper 4-1/2 x 3-1/4. Glue to card front 1/2″ from the right edge.
  • Wreath: Stamp the wreath image on Basic Beige Cardstock with Early Espresso Ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Handcut with Paper Snips. Glue to the right edge of the Designer Paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Branches: Cut 2 branches with the die from Amber Autumn Dies and Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock. Tuck and glue under the wreath.
  • Tag: Create a tag with Basic Beige Cardstock 1 x 3/4. Cut the two corners at the top at an angle and punch a small hole at the top. Stamp the sentiment with Early Espresso Ink. Add olive linen thread through the hole and tie into a bow. Glue tag to the left of the wreath with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Bling: Add Cajun Craze & Gold Dots to the designer paper background.
