Coneflower Celebration Bundle & Beautiful Bokeh!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a pretty & colorful photo of coneflowers. I love coneflowers. I actually have quite a few in my flower gardens!

I chose to use our new Coneflower Celebrations Bundle. This bundle is the bomb! I added 4 layers of the flower petals and I love the way my card turned out:

I also used a Blending Brush to add Peach Pie ink to the flower center and the flower petals.


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Coneflower Celebration
- Inks: Peach Pie, Petunia Pop, Soft Sea Foam
- Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Petunia Pop, Soft Sea Foam
- Designer Paper: Beautiful Bokeh
- Tools & Accessories: Coneflower Celebration Dies, Perennial Postage Dies, Holographic Resin Dots, Blending Brushes, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Petunia Pop Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper cut with the Perennial Postage Dies #2. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Flower: Follow these steps:
- Flower with Petals: Cut (4) with the die and Daffodil Delight Cardstock. Use a Blending Brush to add Peach Pie Ink to the top half of each flower. Glue two flowers together at the tops for two sets of two. Glue one set to the designer paper layer flat. Glue the 2nd set a little higher with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Flower Center: Cut (1) flower center with the die and Petunia Pop Cardstock. Use a Blending Brush and Peach Pie Ink to the top half. Glue to flower.
- Leaves: Stamp three of each leaf for a total of six on Soft Sea Foam Cardstock with Soft Sea Foam Ink. Cut with the leaf dies. Tuck and glue all six leaves under the petals flat.
- Sentiment: Petunia Pop Cardstock 3 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment with Petunia Pop Ink. Trim both ends with Paper Snips into a banner shape. Glue over the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Holographic Resin Dots to the petals.
