Color Splash & Round We Go!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration challenge is this color splash photo:

It was so easy to pick 5 colors from the image and come up with this card:

I diecut two pinwheels for each one of my rounds and then added the banner inbetween each row. The Damask Designs Embossing Folder adds a little bit of elegance to my background:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

• Stamps: Round We Go
• Inks: VersaMark
• Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Basic White, Shy Shamrock, Azure Afternoon, Petunia Pop
• Tools & Accessories: Round We Go Dies, Damask Designs Embossing Folder, Starburst Sequins, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, Heat Tool, Basics Embossing Powders, Paper Snips

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Poppy Parade Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
• Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Emboss with the Damask Designs Embossing Folder. Glue to card base.
• Sentiment: Poppy Parade Cardstock 4 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment in the center with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder and melt with the Heat Tool. Trim the ends with Paper Snips into a banner shape. Glue to card front in the center with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Rounds: Cut (2) of each cardstock color and glue stacked together with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue each one to the card front.
• Bling: Add Starburst Sequins to the center of each round.
