Along These Lines & An Animal Theme!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:

It’s our last week featuring animals on our cards and this week, I used the Along The Lines stamp set where you’ll find images that are drawn with one continuous line for open, uncluttered designs.

After I stamped my dolphin lined image, I colored him with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush which automatically colored him blue with sparkle!


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Along These Lines, Perfectly Pears
- Inks: Night Of Navy
- Cardstock: Night Of Navy, Basic White, Calypso Coral
- Designer Paper: Timeless Plaid
- Tools & Accessories: Framed Scenes Dies, Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder, Misty Moonlight Silver Edged Ribbon, Low Profile Sparkle Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Night Of Navy Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Calypso Coral Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Emboss with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: 3 patterns from the Timeless Plaid Designer Paper 3-3/4 x 1. Glue to the right with 1/8″ between each strip.
- Ribbon: Wrap the ribbon around the card front and tie into a bow at the left.
- Oval 1: Use the largest oval from the Framed Scenes Dies with Night Of Navy Cardstock. Glue over the ribbon at the right with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Oval 2: Use the smallest oval from the Framed Scenes Dies with Basic White Cardstock. Stamp the dolphin image and the sentiment with Night Of Navy Ink. Color the dolphin with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. Glue to largest oval.
- Bling: Add Low Profile Sparkle Dots to the background.
