Patterns Theme With Cute As A Bug!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. This is our theme for this month:

For the Patterns theme, I used the Cute As A Bug Designer Paper which is full of pretty patterns to pick from. I cut the patterned sheet into 3 equal strips:

I also used a triple-layered sentiment from the Words Of Beauty Dies:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: None
- Inks: None
- Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic White, Old Olive, Vellum
- Designer Paper: Cute As A Bug
- Tools & Accessories: Words Of Beauty Dies, Petals Of Beauty Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Petal Pink Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Cut 3 strips of the Cute As A Bug Designer Paper to measure 4-3/4 x 1-1/8. Glue to white layer.
- Branch: Cut two large branches with Vellum Cardstock and glue over the designer paper layers.
- Sentiemnt: Use the dies to create a triple-layered sentiment as follows and glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals:
- Base Layer: Old Olive Cardstock
- Middle Layer: Petal Pink Cardstock
- Top Layer: Basic White Cardstock
