Christmas Magic Theme!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:
I totally went Clean & Simple today with lots of white space!
I cheated by using a preprinted wreath image from the Christmas Tags & More Designer Paper. But doesn’t it look great over two layers of circles and a knotted ribbon?
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Delicate Piens
- Inks: Real Red
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Real Red
- Designer Paper: Christmas Tags & More
- Tools & Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Real Red Shiny Ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Stamp the sentiment 1-1/2″ from the bottom with Real Red Ink. Glue layer to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Circle 1: Stylish Shapes Dies 2-5/8″ circle die with Basic White Cardstock. Glue above the sentiment.
- Circle 2: Stylish Shapes Dies 2-1/8″ circle die with Real Red Cardstock. Glue to white circle.
- Circle 3: Preprinted circle from Christmas Tags & More Designer Paper. Glue to red circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ribbon: Tie a knot with the ribbon. Trim the ends at an angle. Glue to wreath with Mini Glue Dots.
