Chistmas Magic Theme With Festive Friends!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:
My clean & simple card uses a lot of white space and I also added in a few scored lines where my snowman sits that adds dimension to my card:
The snowman image is from Festive Friends. What I love the most about this stamp set, is how large the snowman, Santa and elf images are which makes it so fun & easy to color with Stampin’ Blends:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Festive Friends
- Inks: Memento Black
- Cardstock: Summer Splash, Petunia Pop, Basic White
- Stampin’ Blends: Summer Splash, Petunia Pop
- Tools & Accessories: Festive Friends Dies, Simple Scored Scoring Tool, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Summer Splash 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Petunia Pop Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Use the Simply Score to add 5 scored lines 1/4″ apart starting 1-1/4″ from the left side. Stamp the sentiment with Summer Splash Ink about 1-1/4″ from the last scored line.
- Snowman: Stamp the snowman on Basic White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Cut with the die and glue over the scored lines with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
