A Fright Night Theme With Spooky Sweet!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:

Halloween is almost here and I’m always anxious to see what costumes my 3 grandgirls will wear! My card for today uses the Spooky Halloween stamp set and the Spooky Sweet Designer Paper:

I colored the little stamped critter and pumpkin with Stampin’ Blends. The designer paper did the rest of the work for me:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Spooky Halloween
- Inks: Memento Black
- Cardstock: Basic Gray, Petunia Pop, Basic White
- Stampin’ Blends: Smoky Slate, Petunia Pop, Timid Tiger
- Designer Paper: Spooky Sweet
- Tools & Accessories: Spooky Halloween Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Basic Gray Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Petunia Pop Cardstock 5-1/8 x 3-7/8. Glue to card front.
- Layer 3: Spooky Sweet Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card front.
- Critter: Stamp the critter and one pumpkin on Basic White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Cut with the dies and glue to card front at the bottom right corner with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Petunia Pop Cardstock 2-1/2 x 3/4. Stamp the sentiment with Memento Black Ink. Cut the right end at an angle. Glue to card front about 1-1/2″ from the top and even with the Designer Paper.
