An Autumn Wishes Theme With Naturals Botanicals!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:
I chose the beautiful images from our Natural Botanicals stamp set. This is a stamp set with no coordinating dies so I fussy-cut all of the leaves with Paper Snips:
This stamp set is double-sided, which means you stamp the lined images, flip them over to the flat side of the stamp image and add color to the leaves:

- Cardstock: Darling Duckling, Pecan Pie, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Gathering Together
- Tools & Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Linen Thread, Streaked Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Pecan Pie Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Gathering Together Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Sentiment: Darling Duckling Cardstock stamped with Pecan Pie Ink. Cut with the 1-3/4″ circle from Stylish Shapes Dies. Glue to the right with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Leaves: Stamp and fussy-cut the leaves as follows:
- Long large leaf lined image with Pecan Pie Ink.
- Flip the image over after cleaning and using Pecan Pie Ink, stamp on scrap paper first and without reinking over the lined image for a lighter color.
- Medium leaf lined image with Calypso Coral Ink.

- Smaller leaf lined image with Darling Duckling Ink.

- Fussy-cut all three leaves and glue the calypso leaf flat and the other two tucked under the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ribbon: Create a bow with the Linen Thread and glue to the left on the sentiment layer.
- Bling: Add Streaked Dots to the background around the sentiment.
