Amber Autumn For Autumn Wishes Theme!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:
I created this card using the Amber Autumn Bundle and the Autumn Toile Designer Paper. I love how I added the designer paper as a strip peeking from the inside of the front flap:
I also heat-embossed the pumpkin image with white embossing powder over Cajun Craze Cardstock. The image really pops against the darker colored cardstock:

Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Mossy Meadow Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4. Cut off 2-1/2″ from the right to shorten the front of the card base. Using the 2-1/2″ piece that was cut off, cut a 1″ wide strip to use on a later step.
- Layer 2: Autumn Toile Designer Paper 5-1/2 x 2. Glue to the front flap to the underside 1/8″.
- Place the card in the closed position and add the 1″ wide strip even with the right edge of the card base and glued over the designer paper.
- Layer 3: Very Vanilla Cardstock 3-3/4 x 1. Stamp the sentiment with Mossy Meadow Ink. Glue about 3/4″ from the bottom with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Pumpkins: Stamp the pumpkin image on Cajun Craze Cardstock with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder. Melt with the Heat Tool. Cut with the die and glue over the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Cajun Craze & Gold Dots to the background.
