Drawing Inspriation Weekly From Inspiration Photos!
Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a photo of this cup and there are so many options here:
Some ideas to use are:
- The florals
- The colors
- The mug
- The bug
- Or all of them!
This is what I came up with:
The best part of my card I think, is the butterfly. I stamped two images, colored them and then stacked them. It looks 3Dish and in flight:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Spotlight On Nautre
- Inks: Memento Black
- Stampin’ Blends: Bubble Batch, Pretty Peacock, Lemon Lime Twist
- Cardstock: Bubble Bath, Lemon Lime Twist
- Designer Paper: Full Of Life
- Tools & Accessories: Spotlight On Nature Dies, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Liquid Glue
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Bubble Bath Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Berry Burst Cardstock 5-3/8 x 4-1/8. Glue to card front.
- Layer 3: Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Full Of Life Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Stamp the large leaf image at the top and bottom with Memento Black Ink. Glue to card front
- Circle 1: Cut the large 3-7/8 circle with Pretty Peacock Cardstock. Glue to the center of the card front.
- Circle 2: Cut the large 3-1/4 circle with Basic White Cardstock. Stamp the flower image with Memento Black Ink and color with Pretty Peacock and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends. Glue to peacock circle.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock 2-1/4 x 5/8 with Memento Black Ink. Cut the right end into a banner shape with Paper Snips. Glue to the left side of the circles.
- Butterfly: Stamp two butterflies on Basic White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink. Color with Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends. Add glue to the back of the butterfly body with Liquid Glue and press over the 2nd butterfly. Once dry, bend the first butterfly forward. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
