A Color Challenge This Week!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Connie & Mary and this week we are using three colors for a color challenge. I used the Blueberry Bunches stamp set and paired it with the neat stitched background using the Stitched With Whimsy Dies:

I also used Stampin’ Blends Markers to color the image and to also outline the image. Once the image was colored, I used Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush to add some sparkle:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

• Stamps: Blueberry Bunches
• Cardstock: Moody Mauve, Pretty Peacock, Basic White
• Inks: Petal Pink, Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends, Moody Mauve Stampin’ Blends, Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends
• Tools & Accessories: Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Stitched With Whimsy Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Basics 3D Embossing Folders

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Pretty Peacock Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
• Layer 2: Moody Mauve Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Emboss with the dots from the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. Set aside.
• Ribbon: Color a piece of the Black & White Gingham Ribbon with the Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends Markers. Wrap the ribbon around layer 2 and tie into a bow at the left. Glue cardstock layer to card base.
• Layer 3: Follow these steps:
  • Basic White Cardstock 4-3/4″ x 3-1/2″.
  • Emboss using the Stitched With Whimsy Dies.
  • Stamp the sentiment at the bottom right and the image at the top left with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
  • Color the image with Stampin’ Blends Markers.
  • Outline the image with the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.
  • Color with Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Bling: Add Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the white background.
