It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Connie & Mary . Good Morning! We have a neat sketch this week that our whole team used. This is what I did with my card:

I love the addition of the designer paper strips on some of the layers and the only stamping I used was the sentiment. The designer paper did most of the work for me! I fussy-cut the santa from one of the sheets:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

  • Stamps: Regal Reindeer
  • Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Wild Wheat
  • Designer Paper: Traditions Of St. Nick

  • Tools & Accessories: Basics Embossing Powders, Heat Tool, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Mossy Meadow Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
  • Layer 2: Wild Wheat Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Stamp the small dotted snowflake image diagonally from the top right to the bottom left with Wild Wheat Ink.
  • Layer 3: Traditions Of St. Nick Designer Paper 5″ x 1-3/4″. Glue to the center of the card front.
  • Layer 4: Traditions Of St. Nick Designer Paper (3) 4″ x 1″. Stamp the sentiment at the far left on one of the strips with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder and melt with the Heat Tool. Glue the strips at different angles on the card front.
  • Santa: Cut St. Nick from the designer paper with Paper Snips and glue with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Bling: Add Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the stamped dotted snowflakes.

Check out what the rest of our team is up to this week but visiting Create With Connie & Mary!
