Fall Flora Theme!

It’s Tuesday and that means Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. This is our theme for this month:

For my card this week, I used the Simple Leaves Bundle as leaves, and again as a flower using the smaller stamped and cut leaves:

It was easy to stamp, cut and layer the 6 leaves for my flower:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Simply Leaves
- Inks: Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral
- Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Pecan Pie, Lemon Lime Twist, Very Vanilla
- Tools & Accessories: Simple Leaf Punch, Gold Adhesive Backed Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Calypso Coral Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Pecan Pie Cardstock 5-1/8 3-7/8. Glue to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 3: Very Vanilla Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Set aside and build the following leaves & flower:
- Use the Simple Leaf Punch to cut out the following leaves:
- 2 with Pecan Pie Cardstock
- 1 with Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock
- 2 with Calypso Coral Cardstock.
- Glue the leaves in place on the Very Vanilla Cardstock layer starting at the top right corner.
- Trim the top and right side even.
- Stamp the sentiment at the bottom left corner with Calypso Coral Ink.
- Stamp 6 small leaves on Very Vanilla Cardstock with Daffodil Delight Ink. Cut with Paper Snips.
- Form a flower with the leaves and glue to the right side over the larger leaves flat.
- Trim the right side even.
- Glue Very Vanilla layer to card front flat.
- Use the Simple Leaf Punch to cut out the following leaves:
- Bling: Add Gold Adhesive Backed Dots to the center of the flower in a cluster.
