The Mister Theme!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. This is our new theme for this month:
Some of my customers always tell me they have a difficult time coming up with design ideas for masculine cards so you are in for a treat this month. Connie and I will have great masculine ideas for you. I’m starting out this month with a clean & simple masculine card for you using gears, splatters and a sentiment:
All of my stamped images and diecuts are added to a Basic White Cardstock layer:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Gears & Textures, Lovely Arrangements
- Inks: Blueberry Bushel, Coastal Cabana, Pecan Pie
- Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Basic Gray, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Waterside Retreat
- Tools & Accessories: Gears & Textures Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Blueberry Bushel Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Waterside Retreat Designer Paper 4 x 2-3/4. Glue 1/8″ from the left side.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 4-3/4 x 3-1/2-Follow these steps:
- Stamp the large round swirled circle image with Coastal Cabana Ink at the left side.
- Stamp the sentiment to the right of the round swirled circle with Blueberry Bushel Ink.
- Stamp the small splatter image with Pecan Pie Ink to the right of the round swirled circle and without reinking, stamp above the sentiment.
- Basic Gray Cardstock cut with the 1-1/4″ gear die. Glue above the round swirled circle with Mini Stampin’ Dimenisonals.
- Blueberry Bushel Cardstock cut with the 3/4″ grea die. Glue to the right of the splatter with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Glue the white layer 1/4″ from the right side with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
